I gotta check with my cruise director to see if we are free either of those dates. Should be an interesting show, if nothing else.

One thing is for certain...Yamaha of San Antonio has paid more attention to our bikes and VICTORY that I expected. You guys want to try and meet up for this?

Maybe we can get a few of the Vision Riders from Austin to come down.

It should be fun this weekend. I heard that they are feeding us with Rudy's BBQ! Look forward to seeing everyone.

I was thinking of a possible afternoon ride on Saturday. Let me know what you think.

Link to ride below.

Hey RadioTeacher....what do you think about meeting at the dealership at 11:00--12:00, hanging out for a bit and then hitting the road about 1:00?

Dang it! My weekend just got tied in knots without chance of recovery. If I can get over there at all, it won't be until late Sunday afternoon (probably not then, but there's a slim chance).

You guys have fun!

spursmvp,

1:00 PM sounds good to me but I will get there earlier because I want to ride the Kingpin Low some more. I read that lunch is on them and it is Rudy's BBQ. What do you think of the run to Gurene?

Magic,

I know you will be there if you can.

Take Care

I like this idea. We have some VMC members that are coming down from the Austin area, so there may be a few other Vics (non-Visions) going with us. We took about 6 Victory's up to Bastrop state park last weekend and had a great time. See you Saturday!

I just a card in the mail about the event.

Attached to it was a coupon for "50% off any one item" for "For One Day Only!" on May 22nd or 23rd. That sure sounds like two days "Only" to me.

Also, it had a "20% off any one item" coupon valid in June and 40% off labor to install the part purchased on May 22nd or 23rd.

I guess I got on their mailing list when I bought my 4710 controller or my Kruser Kaddys.

Looks like I will be getting my Chrome Rear Tipovers sooner rather then later! BTW, I ordered my Utopia back rest yesterday.

I'm with you Radio Teacher....got the same coupon sheet. I wish I'd of had this for buying some of the large chrome pieces for the bike. Guess I'll use the 50% off on the chrome tipovers!

I may head over Friday night because they have a live band as well as a burnout contest and slow ride contest. Don't plan to enter, but I like being a spectator! Suspect that there will be plenty of questions about how the Vision rides!

I was at the store today and you can pickup more coupons at the store!!!! You can even use it to order a part that they do not have in stock! The max on the coupon is for $100 off.

I guess I use the "One Day" coupon once on Friday and then again on Saturday! I should be there Friday night as well.

The free Rudy's BBQ is on Friday Night. No free lunch on Saturday at this time. Too bad. I guess I will have to buy my BBQ on Saturday.

See you there! I will be in either a Vision-Rider.com or Vision Pilot shirt.

Radioteacher, I think I'm coming over to SA tomorrow and check out your new dealer. Friday works out best for me. I'm planning on going up to Austin first to check out Napalm, then down to SA. Hope to see a bunch of Visions out tomorrow.

VisionTex,

Have a good trip. I will be there around lunch and go back to the office to do some more work then come back later in the afternoon. I hope to get there before 4:00 PM and stay around the party till about 8:00 PM. I might ride the Kingpin low some more. I picked up a few extra coupons in case they ran out before Saturday. I want to make sure you and others I know could get a discount if you wanted something.

Napalm is a really nice place.

This a picture of the parking lot at lunch today.

There is always a catch....the coupon, they say, is for up to a $50 off a $100 item. So the maximum you can get off an item is $50. I bought the $99.95 panel so I could take the trunk off and make a Street out of my Tour.

I was too slow on the camera. The Victory truck driver took out a Vision Street and did donuts while tapping the tipovers on the concrete. It scraped really nice circles on the ground.

I hope meet some of you there tomorrow.

VisionTex,

Sorry I missed you. I hope you missed the rain. It was pouring when I pulled up at 4:30.

RT, sorry didn't met up with you, nice dealer, and very nice show room, they have alot of Victory stuff for a new dealer. Had some BBQ at Rudys and then headed on up to Austin. Checked out the Austin dealer, Napalm, and they too look like a very good Victory dealer. Just a quick check showed they had almost every accessory available for the Vision. Have not seen that at many dealers visited through out the US. 556 miles round trip.....got to see the corn tasseled out and the gold wheat in central Texas, and pulled in the driveway right after the wife got home. Great days ride.

VisionTex,

Sounds like a great day. I could not make lunch at the dealers, work got in the way. I am on call tomorrow so I will not get there till maybe 10:00 AM.

Tonight there was a group of Gold Wing riders there tonight checking out the Visions. It was funny, one thought I was a sales guy.

Have a great weekend.

I'll be up there this morning....sorry can't do an afternoon ride because of the upcoming list of honey do's. I wish I could have seen the demo truck driver doing donuts with a Vision. Who said our bike is a tank? I think the late night festivities got rained out because there was a seriuos thunderstorm that came right down 35.

Hope to see you guys there!
