I just picked up a 2720. The box it came in has a charger, remote, and cigarette lighter plug-in , but what do I need to get it to work on my 2009 Tour Premium so it has sound and power. Do I need some other cable? Where can I get it? Thanks In Advance.

If you buy the victory mount, it will come with the power cable and everything you need to make it work on the bike.

The correct cable comes in the box with the Victory GPS mounting bracket.. As far as I know there is no other way to get it.

Thanks for the info. I just got on the Garmin website and put in part number 010-10995-00 and it did not come up as a good number. Do you need to call them to get it and how long ago did you talk to them?

You will need to call them to order the part..I have had my bike about 2 months..so I would say it was about a month and a half since I called them.

i did the ram mount thing, and i perfer the victory mount because of the angle at which the gps sits on the dash. and it stays in one spot, unlike the ram mount. when i had the ram mount i found myself searching to get the right angle to view the screen..

mine came with the plug adapter that plugs right into the pre wired harness on the bike. The rest of the stuff you can trash unless you plan on using the gps elsewhere other than on the bike. the Vic mount is better as Arkain said because of the angle and ease of install etc. but you shouldnt have had to order any other cables for this as I didnt.
