rhode island | Just noticed corbin seats has added a very nice leather vision seat to its
selection's, this one has dual back rests and heated.
Also the heater has a high and low settings with an easier to use button
that looks like it lights up. |

| With Corbin's history making seats for Victorys I would be VERY concerned. Tom's Corbin would take 3 days to dry from water leaking in the stitching holes. |

Citrus Heights, CA United States | wipel Corbin seat was designed to work with the Vic trunck just remove rear backrest and install trunck. If properly conditioned the Corbin seat does not hold water. I wash mine blow dry and ride. |

| The biggest problem that I hear about on all the various forums (H-D, VTX, Goldwing) is that many times Corbin seats have a very poor fit, and when one does get one with a poor fit their customer service totally sucks, in fact Corbin's customer service makes Polaris/Victory's customer service look like the best in the industry. On the other hand I had a set of Corbin's Beetlebags for my VTX 1800C/N and they were fantastic in both fit and finish. Guess it's hit or miss with Corbin! |

Dallas, Texas | I traded a VTX w/custom Corbin bags. glovebox and seat, for my Vision Tour. Factory seats from Victory are ten-times more comfortable than those from Corbin. Their "seat gel", breaks-in some, but never gets to a comfy point for long trips. IMHO |

New Bohemia, VA | Gel? I was told by a "seat" man that gel is for the bar-hoppers but not good for the tourers. He said he's done seats with the gel for the long-riders and had request to take it out. He convinced me that leather alone was the best way to go over the stock foam. I had that done on my Goldwing and it was the single best thing that I did, and I even had about 1 1/2 of foam removed and narrowed. With the leather, it more than compensated for the lack of cushy and allowed me to sit longer in the saddle without monkey butt or pressure point issues.
So does the corbin come without the gel? |

they list the heated version at $800.00 this is less than the touring seat for the v92 tc that one was around $1300.00.

Citrus Heights, CA United States | corbin seats do not use gel but a memory foam that when broken in will fit your butt. I have been to corbin factory and watched as they built my seat from ground up as my bike was used for their research and develpmet department. My seat never holds water once I conditioned it with a good leather conditioner. Most comfy seat I have been on can ride for hours without fatigue. |

Ma. | The Stock seat is softer and comfortable on shorter rides. On my "08" Vision I had the stock seat with the Utopia backrest. I rode to and from Boston, Ma. and Montreal, Canada 4 times last summer and had no real complaints. That being said I find the Corbin seat more firm and really notice the difference on longer rides. IMO it is more comfortable on longer rides and for me just as comfortable on shorter rides.
In my garage I have a stock seat with the Utopia backrest and I planned on using it on shorter rides. Since I put on the Corbin I have found that it's so comfortable to me that I never take it off.
In my case I did sit about 1" higher in the Corbin. I took it to a customer seat guy who got me back down by about 3/4".
