I just installed an XM unit I bought off of ebay. Supposed to be new. I'm a little suspicious though because the template for the cutout was missing from the packaging. Anyway, it's a no brainer install, one plug into the audio wiring harness and go. Well whenever I switch to the XM unit for the source, I get a normal display, XM Preview or call 800-blah-blah to activate but no audio, speakers or headsets. Even after I switch to FM or any other source I get no audio. If I set the source to anything other than XM, turn the ignition off (just powering the radio off doesn't work) and then turn the ignition back on, I once again have audio until I select XM and then same thing, no audio.
I figure it's a bad unit, just wanted to ask you folks if you had any info.

Thanks!
