Eau Claire WIS. 09 vision | anyone notice a hump in the middle of the front tire. mine is about 2 inchs wide and about 1/16 to 1/8 higher than the rest of the tire. so when riding i only have a two inch contact patch is it normal or is there a prolem with the tire thanks dave.... |

New Bohemia, VA | that's the way E3 run, I don't have any problems or issues whatsoever with the tire or them being that way. I'm on my third front tire and fourth rear. |

| The centre of the tire is a harder longer wearing compound supposedly because that is the area in contact with the road most often. I ran Bridgstones on my last bike and had the same wear patterns. This isn't any real problem but keep an eye on the wear pattern on either side of this hump also check your wear bars. My tires on my Vision are wearing much the same as yours, the good thing on mine is that the wear is uniform on either side of the hump while on my Bridgstones the sides were severly cupping causing a bounce in the front end.
