Kincardine, Ontario, Canada | I'm very comfortable on my stock seat with the Utopia backrest. The problem is any passenger that I carry slides forward when I hit bumps, so they must reposition themselves constantly.
You can see that the rear of the passenger seat is curved upwards which probably contributes to this.
I had the Corbin seat for 2 days before I sold it here, my back couldn't take the riding position it provided.
Has any one got a suggestion? I have been thinking of sending the seat out to Russell Seats or Saddleman Seats to get refitted, but it's hard to justify since I'm comfortable

Southeast Iowa | Quit putting Armor All on your seat! Just kidding (I hope). My wife only weighs 125 lbs. and does not slide at all. Not sure what is going on here.................I have never heard of this before???? |

Pen says she has some problems with the seat as well.

Pen says she has some problems with the seat as well.
For those that don't know me, my alias is Pigpen, meaning the bike, not me.
I've been tossing the idea around about test riding a BMW K1200LT as my bride made quite a few positive remarks when she sat on one at the bike show. But for me the feet under the seat riding position isn't the greatest when you are 6'4" tall. |

I think to remedy this is to either build up a little in the forward part of the pillion or cut down in the back, and I don't mean the lip, just forward of the lip.
I don't think the thought went into the pillion as it did the pilot saddle. |

Richmond, Virginia | How about a Beverly Hillbillies style seat belt for her/him. Just wrap a rope or line around the tour trunk and tie it at the waist or if ya wanna really be fancy schmanzy you can use velcro.......... or your riding partner can go with ass chaps cause once bare butt hits that seat, there wont be any sliding.... |

shakopee , Mn | Had Same problem, Took it to local auto upholster and had rear ridge cut down.
Passenger is now very happy and so is the pilot. |
