Yep, good old Yamaha. Now going on 11 years of tradition unhampered by progress. They brought out the Royal Star Venture for 2010 a little bit ago. Unchanged except for color. Now, the bike is a great design and works very well. However, it is time to update. It has a cassette player, same 1297 cc engine, fueled by 4 carburetors, and a 5 speed transmission with 5th as overdrive.

Does anyone know where I can find an American made high performance touring bike. It needs to have a frame-mounted fairing, fuel injection, a 6-speed with overdrive, and an audio system with XM-capability and it needs to be intregrated to the main controls. I would also like unique styling and great handling.

If anyone see one of these let me know. I would prefer a light blue/silver or a dark blue/sand.
Thanks for the help.

Anyone, I haven't seen one since around 6am! Can't imagine! Glad you came here, unknowingly seeking something that just doesn't exist! It might exist, but then sometimes very hard to find.

I thought the Stratoliner, that my buddy rides was fuel injected with like an 1800cc motor or even bigger.

Good luck in your search, they say "Google" might be able to help you.

Ocean Blue/Sand - You won't get the free 5yr warranty but it sure is a nice color.

Please remember "Rider" magazine says this Yamaha is a better bike if your buying right now than the Victory Vision. Becareful of what you buy.

Yeah! I'm a ridin'! I just haven't seen that marvel of modern technology, since I left it all alone in the parking lot, uncovered at 6am. I'm feeling a little wispy eyed, I may have to go check on my baby!

Songfan - I'm with you on the color, always had an affinity for those two mixed. Now the free 5 yr warranty, I'd be willing to pay the extra 600 for THAT warranty! I would want a disclaimer, will ride when needed (infer as needed), no b!tch!n or moaning, will let you buy what you need so that your Mid-life crisis can continue, Loves to shoot and hunt and wears the blue when required. I think I'm ready to hand someone 600 hundred for that offer right now, just need to figure out whose offering it. Excuse me, Ms. in poster, Got a Warranty?

The eyes have it, SSG, and you can get a 5 yr warranty and it is fast, because it is Super! You just have to find one. Although the blue/sand is tempting.

Wake up you guys Miss Blue ALSO wants something fresh, powerful, unique, without moans and groans that performs well, handles tight curves and doesnt whine when started up. I suspect that cuts all of you guys out, warranty or none.

She will never get what she wants.  At least Vision-Riders get what they want, eventually.

Holly Cow! Hats off to Yamaha. I heard rumors no carburator would be able to meet the 2010 EPA EURO standards set. No, I don't want one, but I had really antipated the Venture being dropped, or with EFI.

Also, do you interpet the CD player is standard, or an option from this under fetures:
"Single-point audio control system for AM/FM radio, cassette, CD changer and intercom is MP3-compatible and headset-ready."

I have no problem listening to the radio on my 2008 Vision Tour Premium. No distortion at level 16 (which is as load as I can stand it).

14,500 miles this year and everyone with the radio.
On 10 with the wife and 20 alone.
I love my red but that blue coming out of the water looks pretty darn good.

Got a problem with that blue one. The wife says I better not be riding it home!! Something about the chassis and headlght configuration. Oh well, looks like high maintenance. Probably more expensive to accessorize than a CVO Harley. Of course she didn't see the motivational poster thread yet Thanks for all the info in the last couple threads I am looking forward to getting my new bike soon. Just gotta do stupid things like finish closing on a house, move, and set up house. Details, details.

Who has a gallery of a 2009 Ice Blue on here. Being lazy about looking at all the galleries.

Or, is there a way to search by year and color
