Hello All
I was on Youtube the other day and saw a video of a guy cutting two of the wires under the seat to make the whole back end light up when you brake with your turn signals on. Has anybody seen this video and would you be voiding the warrenty if you cut the 2 wires. Now just the lower set of lights go on when you have turn signals going.

Here is a link to a post that has ALL of the information you need on doing this modification... http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=3531&sta...

And it will NOT void a warranty

If you have a tour model, would suggest that you also do a forum search for information on trunk light modifications.

My dealer did this on my bike for free as a courtesy one day when i was over there with no real agenda other then visiting the dealership.
Love the look of it, and the visibility is greatly improved.

This is that guy.....You really do not have to cut the wires if you have a way to remove the pins from the connector. removing the pins is not easy but it can be done. Raise the windshield before you start in case you blow the fuse. It is a pain to get to the fuse block when the windshield motor has a blown fuse.

But the quick way to do the job is to snip both wires.
