Anyone have this style, the ends of the plug in are made for the battery connections with in line fuse. My wife has the Widde vest and I was wondering how/where to hook it up as I dont get the bike until 28 Dec

My dealer put a 12V plug in the passenger's right side of the tour pack under the speaker.  I rewired that plug by putting in a heated clothing controller in it.  Please note that the trunk line is NOT switched by the ignition and is always hot so it could drain the battery if not turned off.

You could tap into that 12V line for your wife's vest assuming you have the tour pack.

Sincerely,

Tim

I used to use Widder gear until I "outgrew" it. Good stuff, and used to be American made. Now, Widder is out of business (Mr. Widder passed away a couple of years ago), and all the heated gear from Gerbing, etc., is made in Asia or Pakistan or somewhere else besides here . What kind of controller are you using? Adapters are available to go from the Powerlet sockets on the Vision to SAE flat plugs or to coaxial plugs. My Widder vests and gloves used the flat, two pronged "banana" plugs, and I have coaxial adapters for those. I'm not sure they are still available though. The SAE flat plug adapters are readily available.

PLug in is just like the battery tender type actually. I do have the trunk but it will be a snowy day in July before it goes on most of the time. LOL
Well ok for coast to coast trips I'll put it on.
I am hoping to hook it up like the HD was with the plug on her left by the seat

Thanks guys!
