Well after at least a month' wait to find the parts and get the right peices in...I have finally finished my Zumo 550 install...Thanks a lot to Candubrain as he identified the parts and part numbers for the connectors to make this install splice less....

I took the AMP 719319-7 and the pins (AMP 719309-1); crimped them VERY carefully to the wires from my Zumo (power and audio) and then pushed them through the housing of the AMP connector for a factory type clean install...It took several tries with the pins, because if you deform the pins any way, they will NOT extend all the way thru the housing to make contact with the female socket...SO for those who try this GO SLOW and DO NOT DEFORM THE PINS....I had to use a magnifying glass just to see the metal tabs that fold over on the pins...I'm blind but not that blind..>These things are tiny!!

I now turn the key to the on position and my Zumo senses the power and starts automatically...SWEET!!! I will post some pictures over the weekend once I get the open holes in the housing epoxy'ed off and weatherproof...Now time for the luggage rack!!! And then I'm done as far as I know!!!

Until someone posts something else that I just CAN NOT live without!!!

I got my mount from Arizona Victory for $89 and wrapped it with carbon fiber wrap...I then installed the mount according to Victory installation records drillinig the 2 mounting holes on the console...I also drilled out the hole directly lower (towards the pointed tip) and placed the grommet there to run my wires through. I found the AMP parts via my local electronics store (Sheilds electronics) they ahd a terrible time finding them but they did have success. I took the console apart and wired up the GPS to the pins and housing of the AMP part. Search Candubrain on the VOG he has pictures and part numbers of the connector and pins (order EXTRA pins because if you get them out of square they will NOT fit in the housing)...I made the connector up and put the console back on. It appears that the audio pin pushed back out as I was connecting the plug together with eh factory female plug...Once it stops raining I am goign to check this out...If I get home in time I will post pictures of the install...
