Are those LEDs in the cheese wedge cover or is it just an optical illusion?

Not sure if this is what he is using. Have also heard of others just drilling out the dimples and using lights behind the wedge.

Yes they are LEDs that I put in myself, the lights were about $30 from ebay and I purchased an extra switch and put in the spare hole on the dash for about $25, I also did the turn signals in red

Are the turn signals integrated into the actual turn signal and blink (come on only when the signal is blinking)?

I wired them to the turnsignal lights, so they blink with the signals, it was pretty easy

Hell yeah! Go SSG! I'm an LED nut myself. That was really sharp on the wedges. Did you manage to find a switch that fits the dash or did you have to do some modifying? If so, would you mind sharing where/what you found?

I ordered the same switch that is used for the hid driving beam, it was appx $25 from my victory dealer, I believe the standard switch from an automotive store is just a shade bigger, but not sure. I wired the switch hot so that if desired I can leave them on without the bike running, not that the bike needs any help being noticed, but it is a blast having dinner somewhere and watching all the people walk up and look it over

I am wanting to do the same thing you did on my SSG but the ones Road Horse offers are way too steep in price. Can you provide some semi-detailed instruction on how / what you did please?? Thanks!

Yep, I second that. Looks like a fun winter project to do. Take your cheese wedge inside where it's warm and tap a bunch of LED's. Maybe an LED controller so it "breaths" or something! Woo hoo!
