I'm going to be due for new tires in a month or so and thought I'd give something other than the Dunlop E3s a try.  I've ordered from WingStuff.com a set of Shinko 757 Journey tires for a total cost with free shipping of 244.98.  I could have ordered the Dunlop E3s for $319.98 but figured I'd see how good these Shinkos are as I have some friends that are running them on their Harleys and they say that the Shinko tires are giving them much longer life and better performance than the stock Dunlops that are run by H-D.

I called up the importer for Shinko (made in Korea with design in Japan by Yokohama) and spoke to a tech to get the load information and was told that each tire is rated for 1050 pounds at 41 psi and is "H" speed rated so that puts them in the same range as the stock Dunlops.

I'll keep you all posted on how these perform and last (I'm at 14K miles right now on my E3s with about a 32nd of an inch to go before hitting the wear indicators on both the front and rear).

i just replaced my Kenda rear tire on my 99 V92C with the Shinko (only because I needed a tire fast for a trip and the Kenda was back ordered) I can't say enough good about the Kenda. Deep tread , long life, affordable. The new shinko is matched with a Dunlop front tire that is near the end of its life so the bike fishes (wobbles a little) at interstate speeds or at least, I'm hoping that's the reason. Initial impressions, I will go back to the Kenda if the Lord lets me wear this tire out. But, I will reserve judgement for now.

I tried shinko's on my Goldwing and would probably give them a 1 out of 4 star rating. They were good when new but wore incredibly fast and got squirly.
Hope you have better luck on the Vision, please keep us posted.
