Leander, TX | Well... about 1500 miles and I got to test the tip-over wings this last weekend  - our driveway has a pretty good slope to it, and I was sitting cross-ways at the upper sidewalk while my son got on behind me, and as I started down the driveway, the rear tire dropped into the grass "inside corner" between the sidewalk and the driveway - between the slope, and the angle, and the extra weight on the back, and the fact that I'm short, and... anyway - the bike went over slowly to the downhill side, I just worked on guiding it down slowly and keeping my feet out from under it. Son jumped off the back, and I shut off the kill switch, shut off the ignition, and got off - it stayed on the wings, even going over downhill - I was impressed with that! Anyway, had to get my wife and son to help me lift it back uphill - that low CG wasn't helping me much at that angle... Was going to check for damage but wife said get on and go - there will be plenty of time to look at it later! Did our run to the store, and got back, and looked it over - nothing touched but the two wings, and they on concrete both - left marks on the concrete, and roughed up the castings a little underneath (I have the chrome front wing, and the painted rear) but otherwise no damage whatsoever.  Nice job on that little design. Never thought I'd have to test them, but sometimes life has other plans...

Prescott Valley, AZ | That's nothing, I did the "tip over test" not once but two times today with my Premium Tour fully loaded on my Colorado trip!!! I had no problem getting it back up even with it loaded down with gear in the trunk and bags. One guy can do it if you back into it and make sure it is in gear so it won't roll back or forward if on a slope. I've put over 1000 miles on this trip so far and still have about 500 more to do before getting home on Friday. I'll post a trip report after I get home next week. THIS IS A SUPEERIOR TOURING MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Montreal, QC Canada | We had a tip over last week on a bad incline and the bike went all the way over. The left storage door was scratched but not crushed. Had to order a new one-$350. Just to get the old one painted would have been $250. Figured for the extra $100, I would be guaranteed a paint match. |

Ruskin, Fl | Did it go all the way over because the ground was soft nd the tips sunk in, or did your saddle bag land on a curb or something? |

Reno County, KS | I've never done it accidently but I've demonstrated it to just about everyone willing to watch. Picking it up from the 45 degree or so angle that it drops too is not a problem. I'm probably average build for a 250lb guy and I can manage to get the thing back up on a slope in or out of gear without much fuss. I've never tried to turn around and use the seat or anything. Seems like you might hurt your back doing that. What surprises me is that the thing never floods out or leaks fuel on anything. Ive never tried it on dirt but I imagine it would go all the way over if it was soft. I love the reaction I get when I kick the stand up and lean it over on it's tipovers! 8-O |

Montreal, QC Canada | cw1115-the bike went all the way over after it hit the tip overs. The road was solid and had a pretty good angle to it. I didn't think it should have gone all the way to the cover. I'm suprised that it didn't collapse.
