CARTAGENA Spain | Hi all, I have thought of buying the Garmin Zumo 660 in a store and then the Mount for Zumo 660 GPS (Victory Vision)

vision for 2008 and do not know if this if this mounting system includes connection cables for the vision 2008. me you can settle the issue, if that does not include cables as I can get my hands on them. Greetings and excuse my English

Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Maybe I can help. I integrated a Zumo 660 on my 2009 Vision. In the box comes all the cables needed to hook this unit up to any brand of motorcycle. Victory also sells a separate Audio integration kit that is supposed to make mounting this unit literally "plug and play". It connects with the small cable just right of the radio console in the space created by the gas tank. Most of us with 2009 and up bikes fount that that they changed the connectors year to year but did not change the kit. Most of us did some version of splicing a different set of connectors to bike and GPS harness wires so that we did not need the Audio integration kit. I would think with a 2008, you may be able to do the same and save some money. The Zumo 660 is an awesome unit! |

Henlow, Bedfordshire, England | I believe you will need the mount as Man314 is talking about the cable for connection not the mount. The Victory cable integrates with the radio for sound but if you arent worried about hearing the directions then stick with the cable included. You will need a mount though, dont believe it includes a cable as this is quite expensive but use the cable with the 660. Wiring to a supply is fairly easy as there are plenty spare connectors under the centre console. |
