Dallas, Texas | At the risk of starting another oil thread, has anyone ever heard of this brand of oil? It is nicknamed/trademarked, "The Green Oil".

New Bohemia, Va | ...can you cook with it when you're done with it in your engine? Maybe it becomes a salad dressing, I just can't imagine a green oil that would give you good service in a V-twin. does it have a MA rating? |

Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | Many moons ago I used to use Kendall GT-1 in my 80 and 81 shovelheads. It was great oil. The engines never ran so quiet. Kendall back then was refined from base stock pumped from Bradford PA wells and it has some unique qualities for a dino oil. The moecular structure is 'tri-lobal' and has the inherent ability to be very sticky and resist shock and shear. Brad penn uses the same base stock. This oil has a very very loyal following from the drag racing and funny car crowd. It hold up well to nitro powered fuels. I have used the 20w50 and it seemed too heavy for the vision. There 10w40 semi syn may be the ticket. It's hard to get. |

Dallas, Texas | Talked to the local retailer of this oil, on 20W50 m/c blend. It is a 90/10 blend and has the same pennsylvania oil base, that is known for it's "sticky" qualities. Cost is lower, and I might find it to be just right for me. It is rated JASO-MA.

| I would take a baby bottle of it to napa and have them analyze it after your what ever millage you change at.
Ask them if your changing to earl or to late. Ask them what metals there finding in it.
It will not coast that much and you'll have a good idea of what is going on in your motor.

Georgia, west of Atlanta | That's cheaper than Victory or Amsoil. If it's truly a semi synthetic blende with that special oil from Pennsylvania that Kendal uses we might be on to something good here. The Kendal GT-1 I remember was dyed green also, I kinda liked that, turns brown like any other oil once it been in the bike a thousand miles though.................. |
