milwaukee wisconsin		just some fyi to all that have the trunk on there vision i was at my buddys shop last night helping him take the back end of a vision apart so he could clean out all the rats nest and pooo from under where the trunk mounts and found the wires that run under the right side of the trunk they have rubbed threw the inslation down to bear wire so next time you have the trunk off check the wires for damage and it was not from the mice !!

Good idea to check the friction/rub points.

I like to wrap friction tape around the wiring in those areas.

My old man use to use that forty some years ago. Just goes to show good products never go away.

 Yeah friction tape has been around a long time, a lot of the old head electricians carried it around.

 

 

 

 Also rubber splicing tape seems to work well, but if you want to remove it you have to cut it off.
