FRS now has a Vision in their Demo bikes. Did you happen to take it for a spin? It has a GPS unit and the backrest not the trunk. Thought about taking it for a spin just to check the GPS out and see if I really wanted one.

It occurred to me that the only color they didn't put metal flake in was the black. Like to know the reasoning behind that. Thought that might make it look better.

where you looking at buying your BTP from?

Sorry I'm so late in answering. I went to the motorcycle show to test ride. got rained out on saturday. had to work on sunday. Went to shoals outdoor sports the next saturday to look. They had a BTP in stock. Took it for a test ride. It had 1.6 miles on it when I got on it. I bought it on the spot. Now I'm waiting for my S1L2 pipes. Turned over 360 miles this evening. Best bike I have ever owned or ridden, period.

Welcome Stretch. The test ride will get you every time. Thanks for finally answering because I thought pollolittle was losing it again. Also, remember, you're not late until you get there.

lowtone9, I thought you were just excusing yourself for your low tones. VAryder, I just let you think I was losing it, or am I? Stretch knew it was for him but I'm surprised he found it, he had to go back a page or two.
When I first started looking Shoal's had a MCCT, but I coldn't get down there in time to check it out, I live just a smidge too far. He wasn't gonna come off the price anymore than FRS so I stayed local. Glad to see you got to test ride it, it appears it was a good test ride. Wife likes the Vegas, how do the two compare.

I bought the vegas from T&R in Corinth Ms. in 2004 . Was a leftover 03. It was very powerful. Put Santa Rosa V Twins fat jacks pipes on it, Had stage 1 remap done and K&N filter, also added overdrive pulley and mustang seat and memphis fats windshield. Wife hated the stock seat. The mustang was verryy expensive, but worth every penny as far as comfort for both of us. The vegas was much quicker, but also much lighter. There is no comparison in the handling dept. While the vegas rode good and took the twisties pretty well, I would not ride the dragon on it. Will be there this summer on the vision ansd not worried at all. Gregg , the salesman at shoals rode my vegas last saturday on a VMC ride, and said he wants it for his own. I hope he buys it, He'll sure get his money's worth. I sat on a new vegas, the seat is much firmer than mine was, but it still a little thin for a long ride.

Just so everyone knows. Shoals Outdoor Sports (Tuscumbia, Alabama) has a nationwide price guaranty. Meaning they will match anyones documented price. This aint no ad. I got a good deal there and someone else might too.
