Hello Vision riders.

First post to the forum and a new owner of a Black Premium Tour..

I have spent recent weeks following all the stories and useful information that I have found here. All of you have helped in making this a recent purchase for my wife and I.

It has been 25 + years since I bought a new bike the last one being of the "Super bike" category. Since that time I have been racing cars and like some of my fellow racers we are looking for other forms of activities that we can do together.

One day while sitting around the race track with others that had a couple of HD's I was asked if we wanted to take it for a spin. So my wife jumped on the back and within moments she was enjoying the experience. Well me being me I went looking and discovered Victory. I did want a bike that had comfort and quality. When I saw the Vision I was "Oh Wow" now this is different and I did dig the lines. Then I sat on it and well you all know the rest…

I was not looking for a race bread machine that would temp me into areas that I once dabbled in 25 years ago. I want to cruise with my wife and enjoy the surroundings.

To me the Vision has a bit more mechanical nature to it than the HDs but its handling and other overall performance and features is what really set it apart for me. I appreciate what each bike / manufacturer has to offer the rider but I think the Vision will grow in popularity once more riders get behind the controls. The bike by design is waiting like a blank canvas for custom paint and alterations. I can't wait to see more personalized ideas that are sure to follow.

Today we both have the day off and rode to the Poppy reserve that is in the high desert of Southern California. (Included a couple of Pictures). The run was about 100 miles combining mouintain back hwy and freeway. Great break in variations. We ended up filling the tank at the end and got around 38 mpg. Oh yeah Got my first "what is that and who makes it " at the gas station .

So far both Pilot and Passenger are happy with the ride!
