I was a little concerned when the Victory dealer in Dallas shut its doors last year.

A month or two ago it was announced that Rick Fairless of Strokers would be the new Victory dealer. A chopper shop would be the new Victory dealer. Interesting.

I was over at the Victory dealer in Arlington last weekend, drooling over the Visions. It's ok. I bring a microfiber cloth and give 'em a good shine. Well, it turns out that they were closing their doors. It seems that the dealership had been bought, by American Ironhorse in Fort Worth.

So, the two Victory dealers in the DFW metroplex are owned and operated by chopper shops. Interesting.

I'm guessing that a few guys here have dealt with Strokers. How's that working out? I talked to a few guys over there, and it sounds like they're really making a go of the Victory franchise. It seemed like they were getting their Techs certified and everything. Has anyone had direct experience getting support from them, yet? Do they work deals on the bikes, or are you pretty much paying sticker for everything? They've got one Tour on the floor, but Frank said that several were coming in the next few weeks. I may have to go drool shine those, too.

Thanks,
Robert

Interesting, wonder if chopper guys need a baggar to help with sales. Chopper sales are very weak in the Tampa bay area. Yes, deals can be had.

I bought the first Vision Strokers sold from Frank on the first of March and my riding buddy Kevin “Fergy” Ferguson bought the second one. We placed deposits for them with Frank back in the first week of November and waited for the state to complete the red tape to get them their state license for Victory. I had bought a 2000 Victory V92C from Rick in 2001 when he first had the Victory line before selling it three years ago and then getting it back now.

Strokers has been a great dealer! They have the best service and are open 7 days a week or like Rick say’s “8 days a week” and this is really convenient. They have two techs certified on the Victory’s and will have more. It is great to take your bike in for work and have a bar and grill to hang out at while they work on it.

I highly recommend Frank and the team at Strokers. You will pay pretty much sticker price on the Vision just like most places now but you will get great service. They have installed every option on the Vision at least once and have done a great job. They treated my bike like it was a new born in pre-natal care and I love that.

Spock,

That's great to hear about the guys at Stroker's!

It looks like the Harley just sold. It's close, anyway. As soon as it's final, I'll slap the For Sale sign on the Beemer and get ready to go talk turkey with Frank. Man, it's gettin' close!
