Well I just called them and they said they haven't started it yet.... still waiting for the brake pads to show up. They told me this morning that the pads were in the UPS shipment that they got at 11. I asked about a tracking number and they gave me some BS about they are investigating it.

I told them to put the tires on and call me when that is done and I will pick it up and do the brakes myself. I feel that they should of at least called me to tell me that they did not get the pads today.

It will be sometime before I bring my bike in for any service again.

Well I just picked up the Vision from Simi Harley, they had the rear brake pads delivered by UPS at 5pm, and only one set of the front showed up, so they mounted the tires and did the rear brakes, and did not charge me for the pads or labor on the brakes. They were also very apologetic and wanted me to know that they really want to service Victorys and that they are sending at least two of the techs to Victory mechanic school.

I feel much better now....

Stopped by Simi last night.  They are getting some more Vics in.  They have about 7 or 8 in now and are getting more.  Accessories and apparel is also trickling in.

I guess its only fair to chime in here on a warranty repair that they are doing on my wifes XC.

This is their first warranty repair adn second victory that they are working on.

Its needing a new main circuit breaker and a front brake rotor. Parts were ordered for it last week and I checked on it yesterday and they have not received the parts yet..

So I am taking a big jump in with them and I will see and post on the final outcome.

So far they have been pleasant to deal with...

Hello Simi are you staying tuned here too..

A 2008 Vision went into their shop last night for similar issues to your wife's XC, except that the problem is intermittent.

Until they learn the bikes, why not take it to an established shop like Cycle Drago? Yes it may be out of the way, but they will get you taken care of right away. No way would I want to be the guinea pig especially on a warranty electrical issue. Mike at Cycle Dragon has probably seem it.

Well personally, this dealer is in my home town. Five minutes from my house, and shouldn't we support local dealers? Plus they are an established Harley dealership, and that alone shows that they are experenced in working on motorcycles. They do have 5 master mechanics. Why don't you guys ride out this way and support the newest Victory dealership?

Strokers in Dallas

Strokers sell used Harleys, not an authorized dealer.

We had the Victory truck there this past weekend. A good turnout! Lots of good feedback from the dealership. I was there Friday and Saturday, got lots of demo rides in. So far, one XC was sold to a guy trading in his HD.

Had a great time coming out there for the Fuel It demo, thanks for showing me that good little lunch place. Kinda funny to see a big Harley dealer- then one small corner with a couple of Victories.
Did I hear right, that dealer sells about 25 Harleys a month, and so far, they have only sold 1 Vic? I sure hope the mothership makes it worth it for them to keep selling until the sales staff and customers realize what a good bike the Vics are. Maybe next year they will have 2 corners with Vics (and a 3rd with Indians ).

I just heard last week that Cycle Dragon unfortunately closed its doors.  I have had very good experiences with them.  They will be missed.

I demoed a Cross Country with my wife on Satuday.  It felt like I was jumping on my mountain bike compared to coming off of my Vision.  It would be a great lightweight 2nd bike.

Got my friends to try a Cross Country.  Trying to get them into something more comfortable for his wife so they can do long rides with us.  He currently has a small cruiser with a pillion seat which isn't very spouse friendly.  He like the CC, but wants to try the Vision.

Stopped by Simi Valley HD today.  They had Metal MeyHem going (bike contest, bands, food, booths, demo rides, dynos, ...).

Inside I saw they have a few more red-sold-tags on some more Cross Countries.  Good to see they are selling some Victories.  Hope it keeps up.

Yup, that was a shame. They were very nice guys to deal with. Does anyone know where Mike and John ended up? Recently Mission Motorsports, a mega-dealer in Irvine, has added Vic to their extensive list of brands they carry. I had them take care of a belt chirp Dragon was unable to fix and they were very professional in the process. I was kind of surprised since the big dealers often don't have the best service. I hope they stick with Vic going forward.
