I have an 2009 Vision with S1L1 pipes, Lloyds Intake Plate and PC V with Autotune. I get the trim values on Autune so I know it is working. I'm getting only 35 mpg. I'm suspecting the dealer may have not updated the ECM when they did the exhaust upgrade. The dealer i got the bike from is out of state. So my question is with autotune and the PC V, would it matter if the dealer never updated the ECM? I used the "stock" PC V mapp for my configuration including the exhaust upgrade. I was going to have the dealer in my area check it out since I need an inspection/service anyway bit wanted the expert opinions from this forum.

Thanks in advance!!!

Shouldn't matter at all... BTW what air fuel ratio are you telling your auto tuner to tune to?

13.8 is not that rich at all. On my last bike I was between 13.0-1 to 13.5-1 . If your basing it solely on sooty tips, then your probably not rich.

Lloyd dyno tuned my bike at Daytona in Feb. I was running way lean. I did like the 43 mpg. He told me the soot on the tips is due to the sh*t gas we have these days. My bike is now adjusted properly and gets a whopping 35-37 mpg, but it's FAST.

Hmmmm - maybe 35 mpg is just fine then. I was hearing people get in the mid 40s. Maybe that is after I have Lloydz do my cams and tune the bike.

I had an appt scheduled with Lloydz last May. They were back ordered on the cams so had to reschedule. They were going through some transition at that time so they never got back with me when the cams were in stock and i didnt heavily pursue. Waiting for time to reschedule and get the new drop in cams. Good things come to those who wait, right? LOL

I'm only about a 2 hour drive away....

Just to let you guys know, my Vision is completely stock with the exception my exhaust tips and during the Independence Day weekend I rode over 800 miles at speeds between 45 to 80 mph on a combination of The Great River Road (in WI and MN) and interstates and while running premium fuel I averaged between 39 to 43 mpg.
