First pic shows the new type of connector with the keeper latched. The Second pic shows the keeper unlatched. Once unlatched just slide it back and the pins push out quite easily.

Thanks for the pictures. I am guessing that the blue and black wires that are taped back are the ones you pulled from the connector. Is the connector marked G and H for those wires?

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Paul, G and H were pulled and taped back. I zip tied the tape to keep it in place. Sorry it took so long to get you those pics. Oh, and the the zip tie right behind the connector was removed to give room to wiggle the keeper off the connector. Once it was back together, the zip tie was replaced. The original instructions for the mod are still correct, except for this connector. Its in the same spot.

To those uninitiated like me......it really is easy to get the pins out. Here are the instructions from "Pushing Pins Out for Dummies" ........ like me! Pull the plug apart. Then unlock the "keeper" on the back section (the largest part) of the plug and pull it back just a bit. Take a needle nose pliers and grab the pin you wish to remove and push. Push firmly! You will feel and hear a sort of "click", then the pin will slide out. Apparently there is a detent inside the plug that holds the pin in, causing the initial resistance and the "click".

And can we get this added to KansasGuardsman's post under the Tech section, and include the Video link from Radioteacher too. I know it would have helped me a lot as I spent quite a bit of time searching for this other stuff! THANKS!!
