We had about 2400 bikes ride from hope NJ to Brooklyn NY, about 80 miles. We went through the holland tunnel and past ground zero. We were not stopping at the site, but I got lucky and was able to jump off the bike and snap a photo with my phone. Once we got into the city it was chaos. The second half of the group was seperated and started following somebody that had no idea where they were going. After a couple of bikers wrecked our group decided to get there on our own. Since I grew up I Brooklyn I led the way. Had several hundred bikes behind me when I looked in the mirror. Ran into Ejwunder at the end. Saw a total of four Visions.

Will never forget 911 or where I was when I found out! Hell of a price to pay for going to work that day for all the employee's and Fire/Police and any other's that did not go home to there family's that day. Had a real hard time watching most of the shows on TV but we can never forget what happened that day or we will allow it to happen again. Grace and Peace to all of the people and family's that were involved in this attack on all Americans.

God Bless the USA,

No one will forget 9/11 but the towers are forgotten gone forever. Ground Zero is a monument to terror and its success upon the USA.

The Pentagon remains a prime target but it was not redesigned.

I will never forgive the Port authority of NY /NJ for not rebuilding that most noble Skyline.

Now when I drive East I see the big middle finger of Osema Bin Laden pointing my way .

Retired Fireman from Wisconsin who I see every year at the Fall Ride rode out to see Ground Zero. The "Road Captian" of the ride did not know where he was going and they all missed the exit. The whole group as I understand it did not get to see any of the area. He had a very good attitude and just said, "I rode out to honor my Brothers and Sisters and that is just what I did". He would have liked to see the area but was glad he made the trip. I hope to go out with him in a couple of years after the new building is finished.

God Bless America and all who gave all for 911...

I believe the whole group made it through the Holland tunnel. Things went south from there. At some point I took over and got several hundred bikes there. The funniest thing is the were nice female rider that was right behind me. When we arrived at Brooklyn Harley she said somebody told her "follow him (me), he's from Brooklyn". It didn't take her long to notice my Florida tag. She said she had no idea where we were going. LOL.

Sorry, no disrespect but he felt bad about not seeing Ground Zero for himself. I pray we all have the chance to see it some day soon, ride threw this area and have a true gut feeling about our loss. God Bless the Firefighters and others that stood fast in the line of duty - God Bless the USA...

Any one have a kid in the Military or that has served? Lets call this Riding Victory Thunder and be Thankful.

My thoughts and Prayers to all that have lost and my support to all that continue to be strong and fight like hell for for our way of life!

Ride hard, ride fast but ride safe and free....

None taken. I worked in 5 world Trade out of HS, and later in tower 2. The events that day motivated be to become a firefighter. Oldest person in my fire academy class. Since than I've also become a paramedic, duel certified. Best job I have ever had. I wish I did it at 22, not 42.

Thanks for the info and may God Bless you and yours in the years ahead. We are at war and we all need to understand this. We do not know where or when it will surface again, I hope we have the fine Fire Fighter Brothers and Sisters to be by our sides again. My son was a trainer of Firefighters for the Military at San Angelo and now is in Helecopter Training. My Middle Brothers son is a Fire Fighter in the Tucson area. I am so proud of all. Last but not least is my youngest Brothers Son who is Comander Officer, he rocks and is so humble. I have no idea what crap he has put up with but he is a very humble person. Not blowing my own horn but we all need to be grateful to these that have gone ahead of us and those that might?? Thanks for letting me get this off my chest...
