oil filter, rear tire, mufflers to Thrush glass packs, and installing a reverse kit Thanks to a good deal from a fellow forum member I now have a reverse to help with backing out every morning and parking on Main St. Daytona. Liandra's computer will have to be reflashed so I am going to have the Stage 1 upgrade to go with the twin sucker and Thrush mufflers. The work would not have taken so long but picking up the parts and getting the tire mounted took about 4 hours of the time. It was worth every minute and dollar spent yesterday

It was not difficult just have to follow the directions. The most difficult part of the job was removing the mufflers. The instructions are pretty good except the relay has to be mounted on the right side if you have ABS brakes. My buddy has a lift so that was a very big help with the job. I bought the reverse kit from a fellow forum member. He bought it from a Victory dealer that was closing to install on his Cross Country and said it wouldn't fit. It was the complete kit for $900 new still in the box.

How did it work out installing the relay module on the right side?

I have a friend that has an 09 with reverse and wants to move it over to his 2011 (with ABS) any other helpful hints?

Before you do a flash on your bike cause of the mufflers ride it a good 1000 miles and keep track of your millage. You might not want to do the flash. I think you'll have good millage and good power. If you do the flash you'll lose some millage and maybe only pick up two horse if you do it.

Moving the relay module to the right side was not that difficult. However we had the back wheel off for the tire change when doing that part of the install. I really like having the reverse it makes backing safer since you are only balancing the bike and not pushing less chance of slipping and using the tip overs.
I had the Stage 1 Flash and like it. On the way to Gainsville checked and mileage was 35 mph @ 8o mph and 40.7 @ 75 mph. After the flash it was back to 40+ @ 80 mph and 45 @ 75 mph those are off the display and it is usally close. I like the extra power she lifted the front wheel off the ground headed to the house last week. I did not intend to and only knew it happened from the shimmy when it touched back down.
Really Really like the Thrush sound it is just right for me.

Someone has a write up about it on the site and it worked well. There are videos on Utube so you can see and hear it. The bike sounds great deep rumble, but not ear shattering. Cost me just over $100

What tips did you go with? And, did you have any issues connecting the Thrush(s) to the headpipes; since they're both purported to be the same diameter?

On edit: Santa is bringing me the slightly longer version of the Thrush glasspacks (35" long) as well as a 4" diameter body (as opposed to the 3.5" Thrush that most have been using). I hope the 4" diameter will negate the need for spacers under the chrome cover heat shield(s).
