I would like to say thanks to Randy of Randys Cycle for doing more than a dealer should do at a major show like Chicago. I drove from north of Milwaukee only to see that Mother Vic didn't show up. But on the other hand it was nice to know that Randy and the other Illionis dealers did a great job. Loved the new judge! I was in line getting a soda and over heard someone say that he liked the Victorys but you can never find a dealer! Well me being me, I just had to turn around to see an HD rider and informed him that Victorys don't need a dealership off HWY. They don't break as often. A new HD friend I just made I think Then I told him to enjoy the show and ride safe. I don't think he liked me.

Yep, it's beyond me that they (corporate) aren't more prominent at that show. At noon on Saturday, I'd have to estimate there were several thousand people on the show floor at once. It was flippin' PACKED! We stopped by the Vic booth a couple of times, but it was too packed to hang around there, so we kept doing laps around the show until we could get in the booth. I didn't see Randy (himself) at the show, but I saw one of his salesmen, as well as the the sweetie that run the parts and apparel counter. I was really impressed with that whole show. That's probably why we spent 8 hours there, lol!

Oh, also a big kudos from the guys in the Fram/Autolite booth. They gave me two XS4164 Autolite Xtreme Sport iridium spark plugs for my Vision. All they asked for in return was to pass the word about their plugs and filters. So I have...

Yeah I was dissapionted that mother Vic was not @ the Cleveland show. The Ohio dealers stepped up and had a nice display. I HAVE noticed Victory doing more advertising though. I get "Roadrunner" mag and there is a nice full page add plus on the back cover there is an add for Allstate Insurance with a large pic of the Cross Tourer. Im sure they're gearing up for bike week in Daytona.

Victory probably had most of their corporate people and equipment tied up doing the International Motorcycle Show circuit......they are at a new location every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Im guessing that spread them pretty thin.

Just out of curiosity is the Chicago show you attended the one that ABATE of Illinois was boycotting for their "no colors" policy?
