Has anybody used the Mad maps travel guides for Garmin??

If so, are they worth it? Easy to use on the Zumo? Got a trip coming up from California to Oregon and Washington and want to take the scenic route and thinking of using Mad Maps

Have not tried them, however, Pashinit.com is an excellent source for motorcycle rides in CA . They give you a lot more info than just GPS points.

I just picked up a hardcopy at Ness here in Dublin, Ca. I like the detail they provide as well as recommended places to eat.

I read some reviews on another site (I don't recall which one). The general consenses seems to be that they are great if you are fine with following their routes exactly. You will be unable to modify the route in any way.
Even so I am thinking of getting it. It seems like getting the Harley addition is the way to go. I don't need to know where the dealers are but it seems like you get access to all their maps for $5. Otherwise you pay $1 for the first 5 maps and then $1 for each map after that. Anyone have experience with that?

I believe these are not maps but travel guides as to attractions and places to see and eat. I am making my route through Mapsource but was just looking for info on places to see along the way. I was hoping this program had good info I could use.
