Pulling off I-675 today and making my normal downshifts, when at second gear, the motor dies. I hit the starter and she fired right up and it didn't happen again. I can't for the life of me figure wtf. Anyone else have this happen?

Its the victory god screwing with you.
If you do a search here you will find its happened to a lot of us. For the most part it is cause you might of blip the throttle and you just don't do that with the vic motors.
Have a good summer of ridding.

Mine did that a few times....then I changed the plugs. Maybe that would help you as well.

Mine's done that a couple of times two. It does seem to go along with a blip of the throttle. And, since mine is brand-new and halessor than 12,000 miles on it, I don't see where new plugs would help. Radio teacher, did you change to a different style or brand of plugs

Common with the Visions, don't know if it goes through the whole Victory line up.

I've had that happen to me a few times, mostly just after I got the bike. It was actually me inadvertantly hitting the kill switch. I didn't even realize that I had touched it.

John,
That must be it. I have a habit of blurpping the throttle during the downshift sequence. Just a habit I have had for years to make the gear change quieter and smoother. I guess my old a$$ has to change a 40 year habit.

Ive had it happen to me also but in my case eveything went dead. The battery terminal came a little loose and the bike lost power for a sec. and died. Fuel injected bikes hate power interuptions. I used some locktite on the battery terminal bolts and haven't had that problem since. Lucky for me I never had the habit of blurping the throttle.
