Tex, chrome is silver looking and real shiny. Kinda like polished aluminum foil. People can see themselves in it.

I thought it must be a typo - 'each' so i went to the website http://shop.arlenness.com/s-161-new-from-ness.aspx - and it says 'each' $340 for tips - geez.

That's great for the few that were able to get Mr Wizard's exhaust tips but the rest of us need them from someplace else Not a whole lot of options out there the Witch Doctor tip are fugly in my opinion I can drill a bunch of holes in what I got but it ain't gonna look right.

I'm new so perhaps I'm missing something. What's so special about exhaust tips that they're worth $350-$400/pair? I'm not saying that they aren't good quality but that's about what I paid for my entire V&H bagger exhaust system for my Nomad. It shouldn't be "if you can afford a Victory, you can afford these exhaust tips". Is machining a block of aluminum that costly?

monkeyman - I agree - I don't think they are special enough to warrant that pricing.
