Well guys I put on here that I was going on a 3 day trip to Florida from Va and asked for Advice and I got plenty...THANKS. I also said I was working on the heat issue. Well this is what I came up with that is similar to the ones from Victory but are stationary (for now) and they are smaller and at this point seem to take just enough of the heat away. I guess the test will be 2000 miles in three days down south. If you look I notched out the front of the deflector and it seemed to make it work more efficiently. The smaller size seems to make it less intrusive and not change the look of the bihe much. I still have to polish the edges and clean it all up. Just looking for your input

Thanks,
Shawn

Nice paint. Good job, that looks really nice to me. Was it hard getting in the fairing to bolt them on? Did you use heat to bend them?

they are polycarbonate and I just used my brake. EZ to bolt on hard to convince myself to drill the holes not knowing if this would even work! LOL

As long as you didn't drill into the fuel cells =).

What does the writing on the bike say ?

I could have used the shields today.  I took a run down to my dealer and it was 107 degrees going through the valley and that was at  "highway" speeds.

Very tasteful graphics. Picture #5, what is above front cylinder? Will they work at -30C? Personal record 100km at 100km/hr, -35C. Took lots of bundles & Widder vest & gloves. Life goal - to ride one day, every month of the year (need the two wheel therpy)

mine is (will be) on a long plate bolted inside the left faring and is visible standing infront of the Vision about four feet back on the right side. I say will be,because it is currently on the left fork toward the top. That is where the dealer put it. My DoD sticker is on the plate as described and there is room for the next inspection. I bent the plate to match the curve and used the existing faring bolt to fix it to the bike. The plate I got from the HD dealer and is standard type plate with a hole on one end.

Since inspection stickers do not have to be "prominently" displayed in Texas--mine is inside my trunk.

Wish that was the case here in Virginia. Wish even more i was back home in Texas. Our sticker technically is supposed to be visible on the left side of the bike. Only reason i put the plate tucked away inside and forward of the inner leg fairing.
