Hello, all.
My name is Nick Cima, im orginally a sport bike rider never had no use for a crusier or touring bike of any kind. Nor the use for speeds above 120mph. Given most up to date sport bikes can hit 120 half way through third gear. The police no longer allows me to ride sport bikes, for some reason they wanted to keep giving me tickets, and taking my license. I like a powerfull mid-range and something you can flick into a corner. But the problem is you can't hammer the cornners on a crusier. Or can you??? I started working at Corbin Motorsports in Sales and we had a bunch of bikes for old men and they called them Victory. I was there bout a month or so, and had'nt as much put on between my legs. I was finnaly talked into riding one. I rode a Vision down the main road a piece and come back. Well yea it felt like a smooth riding bike nothing to write home to mom about. Let a boy test ride a Vegas (8) Ball he was gone bout an hour or so we got worried he might have ran out of gas. So i got on grandpaws Vision again and went looking for him. After bout ten minutes on the back roads my search for the test rider was concluded. After another two hours went by I come back into shop with a smile from ear to ear. I remember thinking, Damn that was like riding a rail. Not in love yet, I had to try the Hammer after just a short piece in the twisties I found a new love. No I was'nt cheating on my beloved sport bikes. I told her to kick rocks. Theres nothing quite like being in the top end of Third and Fourth gear waxing these young punks on there rice rockets, while flicking the Hammer into the corners. Imagine that, flicking a crusier. Who would of thought. Now I'm burnt up to sattle a stroked Hammer.
Come see me, lets ride.
Nick

Welcome Nick. There are lots of former sport bike riders here. As you've discovered, you can have just as much fun at half the speed and your license isn't in as much danger. Once you discover "grandpaw's Vision", you'll find out you can have just as much fun and be comfortable and have a place to carry all your stuff all at the same time. Yeah, the sport bikes weigh half as much and can be flicked through the canyons a little faster than a Vision, but they make my wife's A-- look fat and she doesn't have any place to put her stuff. She likes to take a LOT of stuff. Besides, this old man can't ride one of the things anymore more than a few miles without everything hurting. 500 mile days on the Vision are a piece of cake.

Thanks Ronnie, I've not worked a day since I rode the Vision Down the back road here in corbin ky. It's been like your highschool sweet heart breaking up with you. And just knowing life will never be the same, thinking how can she ever be replaced. Then a couple years later finding out theres the perfect girl for you. For some reason i've always thought of my bikes as real relationship. But you know one of the best sounding bikes iv heard. Belongs to a clint of ours which is a 106 vision thats been cam'ed with an intake. But now he has fab'ed a set of automotive glass packs into his stock cans and looks like oem

I own both the vision and a hammer. Got a great deal on both. I really like the hammer as a straight up speed demon with no storage, no screens and no fairings, it is stock all the way. However, the vision is the year round rider through all kinds of weather and is perfect for my two up riding days with the wife. I have told alot of riders about the Hammer spped agility and how responsive it is. I do ride the vision more but it is noce to know that when I want to, I can jump on the hammer and have some real fun. I love hitting the twisties on that hammer.

I know where your coming from for sure. For a long trip I could see taking the Vision to the end of the earth with no comfort problems at all. or the cross country for that matter. Have you got a chance to ride the Judge yet. Ive got mixed emotions about it. the more i ride it the more i like it. at the moment i do not own a Victory yet but i do have a set of dealer tags. woot woot

You have to stop an think. Do I want to see whats over the next hill an valley or am I comfortable just riding a hundred mile radius.
Sooner or later you want the other side of the hill and whats down in that state that every body goes to.
We all grow up at some point and want to stick out toes in the ocean.
