We had a horrid winter - sometimes we went almost 3 weeks between rides. But weather is getting nice - and Easter Weekend here is perfect. Here is a video showing a little bit of what we saw on our 6 hour ride today. Enjoy!

Central Wisconsin

Nice video looks like a beautiful park and lake destination.

Your lucky, we haven't been able to motorcycle around here since October.

For you flatlanders, the notches cut into the stump Don is standing next to were used to springboard up the tree to a place where the 2 man 6 ft Norwegian misery whip could cut the tree down (with serious applications of Norsk steam). Springboarded stumps are beginning to vanish as the last use of that harvesting method was well over a Century ago, and wasted billions of board feet of lumber, but hey-we're never gonna run out of trees or fish!
It's also pretty common to see trees sprouting from stumps given our wet climate.
And I spent the day working the front flower beds removing cabbage sized weeds. That's OK! The Daffodills are mostly up and the Tulips are right behind them and I can cruise the fields during the week when everyone else is working

Went out in he carport this early afternoon, pulled off the cover and poured a couple gallons of CHEVRONS best in the tank turned the key and.........................NADA!!! So, tomorrow I'll get the multimeter, a couple screwsticks and see if it's the battery (we had a 40f Winter and it's been plugged in to the tender all Winter) or just schmutz that needs to be off the bike. (what potential fun!! an old fat guy with a bad knee laying on the concrete!!!)-

Bill - that is EXACTLY why I get my Dealer to do that shit! Gravity SUCKS! And the older you get, the HARDER it sucks. And that is also why I ride all winter ...

PURE GENIUS, that's me! before I laid down on the carport floor (probably to never get up again after planting flowers all morning), I turned the key one more time...........DAMNIT Janet!! NO green 'N' light-I left the bike in 1st when I put it up last Fall-Got it in neutral and hit the button and away it went, so now it's off to the dealer to set up an oil/filter change. But right now I'll watch the darkest comedy film ever made, 'Dr. Strangelove' and have some lunch.
