My new J & S Jack should arrive tomorrow. Are there any tips or tricks I should know about when I go to jack up my Vision? |

Peru, IN | Yeah, it's going to be wobbly. See HMD for a skid plate (just north of $200, I think). That'll give you a flat surface to jack the bike up. OTOH, it's a Victory. Not really any need for a jack. |

I was thinking about the skid plate. J & S does include to rubber/cork pads to use with the Victory. I will test these first and send out a post to let everyone how they work....and yes I will provide pictures.
On that note....having a limit of 100K for pix causes the resolution to suffer greatly or am I missing something? I understand storage and unstructured files a.k.a jpg, text, doc. ppt etc and how they consume storage. I may post my pictures on my smugmug account and use an URL as a pointer |

Manchester, CT | I forgot...the jack is for making detailing an easier task as well as to manipulate the bike around the garage as well as for storage. |

New Mexico | I thought the new pic size limit is 500k, but tried 116k and still didn't work, and got an error saying 100k still the limit.
I use 'Paint' to resize as it is on all windows operating systems. I have windows 8 but is similar on all their platforms.
Resize by dropping 100% down to 80, or 50, etc, then check properties to see the size is reduced enough.

Central Illinois | Store your picture on photobucket and just paste the IMG link in here as so much text. The result looks like this, a bike I sold last week. It gets around the size limit because the picture is somewhere else.

Manchester, CT | Well I received the jack today. If anyone is looking to purchase a jack, spend the money and purchase the J $ S Jack!!!!!!!! The craftsmanship, quality of material and finish, welds screams quality, integrity, pride and MADE IN THE USA. On the website it looks like the USA on the front rail is a decal. ITs actually about a 1/8 plate! On the other rail, J & S places another plate with serial number of the jack proudly displayed. I also purchased the T bar option. If you do but the jack definitely get this option. I didn't purchase the Oil Pan Adapter for the simple reason I will have the dealership service my bike until it is broken in. I will probably by the adapter once I start doing my own oil changes.
The Jack is SOLID AS A ROCK. The VV doesn't move or shimmy when it is elevated. One thing though, I am probably going to purchase a skid plate. I found it a little tricky to align the 2 neoprene pads they give you to accomodate the Vision.
cudos to J & S for an outstanding product!!! Oh by the way...I paid full price and this is an unsolicited review. |

| Loosen all axel bolts when bike is still on ground any other bolts that might be really tight.
No need to make bike unstable when in the air |
