Tomorrow evening I get to leave for my Summer home and on the way the Dream Catcher gets to stop by and spend some special time in Adel, IA. Looking so forward to dumping the final chunk of change into her with a few odds and ends here and there for fun down the road. Now even after all the things that I have had done she came in well over a thousand less budget then the cost of my 2007 Ultra off the show room floor. Now that's what I am talking about....... Coulees here we come!!!

Well up 40+ hours 1000 miles and 30 minutes of sleep. Ryland got his hands on my Vision yesterday and all I can say is it was well worth letting him put some of his magic to the motor. Top air filter, Timing wheel, and Fuel controller installed and dyno tuned. I have been to and watched the guys in Sturgis dyno tune bikes and all I can say is what a waste of money. Ryland with his partner had all the parts on in an hour then spent 2 hours running it on the dyno. 1st was a base line before parts, then tuning the front cylinder when that was just right he worked on the rear so they are perfectly matched. Haven't had a chance to put in any time on it yet but my initial assessment better mileage, true testing to come, bike runs so much smoother and the biggest thing I noticed was I filled it with gas after running it hard and the heat factor on my legs was gone. the torque curve is gone the part that changed the most was how it stayed strong through the whole RPM range. gaining about ten pounds of HP and torque straight across. As soon as I get a chance I will give some up dates on performance and mileage. Ryland's TVS is the real deal, a quiet professional guy that has forgot more about these motors than most mechanics will ever know.

Nice bike; however, I am bias b/c I have the same bike minus the graphics. Where did you get the graphics done? Is it paint or stick on?

The graphics are from Tex McDormand, texefex.com. I was originally going to have some stick on graphics done but could not come up with any colors that matched. So one day I was doing an internet search and came across Tex only 15 miles from my home. I shot him an email which he replied back in no time. A couple of days later was out for a Sunday ride last March and ran into a 2010 VV he had pinned striped. Well what great timing because my wife was all over it with the way it looked. Seeing his signature on the back of it I told G that I knew where this guy was located. Then she told me that we should see what he could to do ours!

Floored me that she would even OK checking!! Couple of days later we made the trip to his shop in Sanger, TX and inside of an hour he hand put on three different pin stripe ideas on the right side saddlebag with real paint wiping it off. Then he showed us the idea of tribal graphics. The price of the tribal's being the highest cost and my darling wife telling me to go for it!! Well we went back in and gave our pride and joy to his caring hands for a month.

I had no idea and did not want to know what he was doing to it. All I can tell you is I was speechless when we went to pick it up. In other words the the pictures just give you an idea, when you see it in person it is ten times better. The paint is all by the House of Color. The root beer orange color is shot in a candy application then clear coated with the pinstripes applied free hand after. This is the first time I have gone all out on a bike or any vehicle for that matter and no neither the bike or my wife are for sale!!!

Thanks to everyone here for all the nice comments.......
