I wonder why Vic is including a new ECU download with the recall.........I thought its just a couple of loose nuts..........on circut breaker?

My question exactly. I don't know if it was done intentionally, or just poor wording, but the recall notice seems to indicate that there are two completely separate issues, with the ECM issue being somewhat buried in the details. Kind of like, "oh, and by the way, we have a bug in the ECM module as well, but back to our main point...".

I have encountered the unexpected stall on a couple of occassions when on the road trip to the AVR. Is this supposed to be fixed with the ECM update?

The way i took the recall was that with the loss of power it put the ecm back to stock. I might be wrong its just my take. So anyone that did the airbox/pipes with the download could now be running very lean. Time will tell i reckon.
