Hi everyone....I have a strange noise.....left side of the engine .... starts at 2600 till about 3000...louder if you hold steady on the gas....in all gears...louder in 2 and 3rd.....started at about 100miles went away after 700 just after the 500mile and is back after 5500miles.... if my eyes were closed i would think it was an old chev with a bad lifter.....any ideas????

Thanks Shawn

Don't sweat it, its normal. Mine started about 100 miles after purchase went away for about 4k then came back, went away, came back again, etc.... My thoughts is it is a temperature related noise and you'll hear it when the air is heavy like on hot humid days. When temps drop into the 60's it won't do it at all and you'll wonder if your motors running.

RacerShawn,
You might want to go by Hampton and let Mike hear it, or if you are riding up on the Victoberfest in the next couple of weeks me and Mike or Robbie can listen as well. I usually get the normal Victory cam chain noise and split gear noise from the primary, and yes it gets worse as you get closer to oil change time and or with weather conditions. Most of the Victories i have been test riding and demoing have slash pipes and drag pipes, so you cant hear the normal engine noise. With the Vision and the way the fuel cells and body work is made, it helps funnel the engine noise right up to the driver.
