After years of searching for a touring bike I could feel comfortable on with my 6"7" 280 frame, I bought a 2005 BMW K1200LT. Excellent fit and finish. Much better than any metric or Harley. I am getting my seat redone by Russell Day-Long Saddles and should be pretty comfortable.

However......

The LT is still not perfect as the fairing restricts stretching the old legs out and my knees get pretty sore. I will give the LT a year or two, but I'm still looking for a bike that works well for the tallest of riders. What do you think about the Vision and tall riders?

I am only 6'2" but I love the Vision for stretching out. As is I can go straight legged with my heels on the front tip over ledges.

6'7" may be another story, but I do think the Vision has by far the most leg room in it's class. Best bet would be to try one out for yourself.

I am 6'5" and weigh 305 pounds.

The Vision is the best bike I have ridden in 15 years!

I can stretch out straight legged, and even sit up like a sport bike.

I had the bike for 3 weeks, then decide it was time for a road trip, rode 4000 miles in six days.

When I got home, I felt great. My but, back and legs wre not sore at all!

Damn fine scooter, be hard pressed to get me to ride anything different!

I'm 6'5" @275, my normal ride is 200+ miles. It is a nice bike, however the stock seat would need to be back about an 1.5" to 2" for me to be really comfortable. There is more than enough room for Victory to offer a "Tall Boy Seat", my wife said it is without a doubt the most comfortable passenger seat she has ever been on, and she has more than a couple of inches between us. She has even remarked it is colder on the Vision than it was on the HD Ultra, as she is not as close and I do not blcok the wind!

I have installed the new leather seat that Victory offers, I've only put on 150 miles since installation. It is very comfortable, I did not gain any more room, but I believe the leather will breath, allowing for a little more comfort. Being our height - there is not a lot of "movement adjustment" for us, once you are in place you stay there. As you know a lot of disscomfort comes from the seat not being able to breath, leather seems to improve that. I had called Corbin, Mustang etc, no one was planning on doing anything for us so I went ahead with the Victory Leather. One note to any that may consider - electric / heated is not available with the leather seat, so keep your stock one if you want to ride in the cold weather and want heated seats!

Overall it is still a great ride and I'm sure someday someone will make a seat for the taller rider.

I am only 6'-4" and 220, but for me, the Vision is much more comfortable that Harley, BMW or Honda. It is not perfect, but out of the box, it is the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. My longest single day so far as about 500 miles, which is not unusual for me, and with the exception of not having leather, I am really comfortable.

I'm 6'4" and a heavy guy. The Vision is the most comfortable bike I've ridden. I have lots of leg room and foot positions, which is nice because I'm a bit of a fidgety rider. But I have pretty short legs (for such a tall guy) and a really tall torso. So, leg room is fine, but I think I'm going to get one of the Ceebailey taller windshields.
