I had been contemplating getting a Sirius tuner for the bike for a few months now. I have it in 2 cars and the additional subscription wasn't going to be much, then they merged with XM and changed the mix of music of my favorite channel.
I've had an iphone for about 6 months and haven't really gotten into all it can do until recently one of my buds starting showing me all of these free apps you can get on it. One of which is Pandora. It's a free internet radio station that you program with your favorite type music and it pipes it in. Connected to the ipod cable on the Vision and you've got great radio choices anywhere you have cell service. Granted I have hit a few spots where my cell has no reception, but it's free and has unlimited variety.

+1 Also if you use AT&T and probably others, you can subscribe to XM on your smartphone (I assume iPhone as well too, but someone needs to check me on that). Granted if you aleady have an XM receiver it's a big "so what..." but if you don't and you do have a smartphone, it's a nice alternative.

I use AOL radio on my iphone, it seems to stream better than Pandora (for me) and is much easier to navigate, with dozens of stations for each genre of music. Gotta run 3g, tho...

Are you connecting to the mini plug that comes standard? I have the dedicated ipod/iphone cable on now. When I connect the ipone with it and go to AUX all I can get is the songs in my playlist. I also have the iheart radio app and would love to listen to my AM station throught the phone. If you are using the multi pin ipod cable is there a setting on the phone I need to change?

Thanks

I'm using the ipod cable. I have to start the bike and then start the app that produces the audio you want to listen to, otherwise it automatically switches to ipod music playback.

Thanks. I went out and played around and got it to work for me. I found if you change the source while using an app it will go back to the ipod when you switch back to AUX.
