donetracey - 2009-02-18 5:56 PM Am I the only Visioneer who bought the 10 CD changer? That, and local FM stations is all I need.... plus of course the speaker upgrade.

What's a 10 CD changer? Is that anything like 8-track??

When I first bought my bike I looked into the CD changer. It plays mp03 disc's which would have been able to hold my entire collection. At $600 I thought it was steep. Sony makes (made) the CD changer. I found them online for $160. Wasnt sure the harness was compatible? No one in the area stocked it. Special order only. Everyone went i-pod.

I have XM in my work truck, and car. I love it! No more hunting up stations. With the shitty reception I get on the Vic, I've ordered a XM for the bike. Can't wait for riding season, and having something to listen to when more than 25 miles away from a station. I think I'm going to like the controls on the handelbar.

"10 CD Changer" - like having a tiny DJ in your trunk. Your choice of music - not some pimple faced punk from Iowa who wouldn't know good sound from an 'American Idol' preliminary round. No commercials. No 'opinions'. No lame laughter. No lying weather reports. No stale news.
Sorry - I tend to be a bit dramatic....
CD's sound is not quite as good as Vinyl LP's - but a HELL of a lot better than MP3's. I have 7 high-end sound systems in my house and 3 HD TV's. I appreciate quality in picture, sound - and in motorcycles. And as for women, well ..... that too <grin>

Does anyone have the 10 disk cd changer and CB???? If so how did you mount them???? I put the CB in the lower trunk area but did not install the cd changer because I don't want it in the trunk. I read somewhere that someone put the CB in the right saddle bag, I may try that later so I can install the cd player..
