Works remarkably well. I rerouted the ipod cable over and got the charging converter and I'm set!

I like how you just suckered it right to the tach.

I have that charging adapter and it doesn't have any positive lock. Do you have a problem with it popping out.

I also find that although it is a tight fit you can position it in the compartment and still get the lid closed. I prefer doing that as I have all the controls I need on the thumb pod.

When I first saw the picture I said "what in the world..." then I realized exboy10 was from Alabama and all is well. I figured he tried sticking to his helmet but it but it too close to his face, but then again, the pillion could use it.

Try putting it in the middle of the windshield so you won't have look down. Sheeesh, you guys from Tennesse, I mean 'bama, but what's the difference????

The flex mount wasn't long enough to mount on my helmet (just so you know, varyder), the ipod cable wasn't either. I tried sticking it to the console but it put it too far forward. I rarely use the tach and the position was where I wanted it so TA-DA!
I can fiddle with the internet radio stations on Pandora, see when I get an incoming call, not that I'm going to answer it and charge the phone at the same time.
af goalie, I have had the converter pop out a time or two. A positive click, lock into place would be a good improvement to the product.

Whats to stop it from un-sticking to the tach? I Have had several suction cup type mounts pop off my windshield and dash puck in my car, and the result is my phone and or gps laying on the floor. I would hate to see my ipod touch bouncing off the tank and then in my mirrors bouncing down the road behind me.

To each his own I guess. A 9 dollar set up for your $300.00 Ipod touch.. I hope it does not fall to the ground.

I will never understand the desire to mess with a phone, MP3 player, GPS ect. There are to many crazy things and people to watch out for while riding.

I do have a GPS on my bike... Set up before departing and Safe switch on. Operation not allowed while moving.

I do have an MP3 player loaded with a riding play list. Turned on and put out of site while riding

And this bluetooth set up for helmets so people can talk on the phone and ride...

Cell phone in the trunk... I will check it when I am stopped.

I will be the one enjoying my tunes and riding safely... May your rides be safe too.

Here's what I did... used a RAM adhesive mount & 3G iphone cradle. now I can stream Pandora while riding, or use my 3D mapping software. My mount is removable, and is easy to spin landscape.
