I was interested in recommendations on a motorcycle lift like this one. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I had my old dealership order a hydraulic lift for me just like they use at the dealership shop. It comes in handy for all sorts of projects
that dont even pertain to motorcycles, plus it drops down and i can roll it out of the way when not needed. If you have an SUV you can
also center it in the space and just drive over it to park your vehicle without having to move it. The only thing I did to make it easier for me to handle on my own was to put strips of non skid with adhesive backing down the top of it where the chock was. This keeps the tires from slipping (which is easy to do esp if the tires are the slightest bit wet/damp/oily/ etc.

Yup im getting older and I will be adding a lift to my garage as well. I had one over in seatttle but sold it like an idiot when i moved. Now i need another one. This sitting on the ground bending over crap to work on the bike is for the birds. :-)

I'm still looking for the right one also for my vision.

I just set up the Harbor Freight lift that was fairly inexpensive at $450. It works with compressed air. I added the HF condor type wheel chock at $65 instead of the vise that comes with it. I'm not agile enough to balance the bike in the vise get off the bike then tighten the vise. Plus, the jack itself is several inches high and the Viz is, as you know, large. I am now adding my own side panels for my feet when driving the bike on and backing it off. HF has a wing panel kit for $200 but I am using the HF ATV ramps and modifying them to fit the lift. They cost $45. So far I have under $600 invested and it works great. My next mission to find an inexpensive small jack that will raise the rear end while on the lift like the one ZZedmonds shows in his photo. I did get all of these HF parts on sale and with their discount coupons.

"handy" m/c lift is the industry standard. with vise and sid mounts(2 8" extentions) run about $650-$700. i have used them for over 10 years. they are the best.

I got mine from Derek Weaver in Texas, best price I could find, at the time!

It is great worth twice what I paid for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freight wasn't bad either.

Vision is very stable in lifted position, even with my 6'5" 305# load on top.
