Has anyone who is rides their Vision with the trunk on, or takes it off and uses the passenger backrest seen any difference in the gas mileage ? I believe my mileage is worse with the trunk off.
Now this is filling up to the exact spot on the filler neck and riding the same way with the combination of highway/local driving.

Too many varibles. When within two to three mpg I wouldn't worry too much. If it drops by 10mpg then think something is wrong. Mine dropped also, but only because I get more agressive without the trunk on. Just a thought.

My gas mileage is all over the place riding locally, around 45-46 mpg regardless of trunk or backrest. Now I did average 51 mpg last summer riding Skyline and the BRP plus a bunch of other roads in the Maggie Valley area, but as a rule it hold pretty steady at the aforementioned 45-46.
