I am hoping to blackout the front, and would like to see what a dark tint looks like on the windshield. Some one said earlier that the plexiglass does not like normal tint... I am looking into that. But would still like to see pics if anyone has them.

Thanks!

so either you live in a state where dark tint at night isnt illegal, or you prefer to have a shield that you never look through or raise?
Just trying to deduce why you want even less visibility in front of you instead of more.. is this a sacrifice of safety for looks?

You can see through tinted shield just fine. It's tinted, not painted.

I am amazed by the bold statements... "never look through or raise"? "sacrifice of safety"?

I just installed a C Baileys 14 inch tinted. Personally I never look through a windshield. Yes you can easily see through it if you wanted although at night you might have issues.

Well, I never considered it a safety issue. Certainly during the day I do not perceive a problem. At night I guess it could be an issue, but aren't we looking way over and farther ahead then the area directly in front of us that the windshield would inhibit? Maybe in a parking lot at slow speed at night it would be an issue?

I am not a veteran rider, so I am open to advice. I certainly don't want to make it harder to see! Yes, this is all about looks. I thought a blacked out bike and a dark windshield may look cool. That is why I am tracking down pics (or I will photoshop one...if I can figure it out)

I do like the false dichotomy options you gave me.... "Have you stopped beating your wife" questions are always funny. Uh..yes?.. uh...no? How do I answer those? hahahahah.... I know you meant well, and I do appreciate the heads-up.

You have made me think twice. Safety first.

I couldn't look through the 14 inch even if I wanted to. Full height it's about the same size as the stocker in it's down position.

OK! THanks! That looks great. Is that a stock windshield tinted? Or an aftermarket? Can you give me any details??

Is that a medium tint? How is it at night?
Thanks!

EDIT: ---> Just read up above... that is a Ceebailey's 14". I would like whatever stock hight is, but tinted dark (if it is not a night vision problem)....yes, I said night vision...haha

Stock is 17, go to CeeBailey's site. I seen the stocker tinted at the AVR. Did not look bad.
