| This weekend was the first time i had my trunk on. The only other time it was on was on the way home from dealer. I love the room, i just hate the way the bike feels with it on. I don't know, it feels ALOT heavier and it sure feels like a kite in the wind on the freeway with 10-15 mph gust. Just hated the whole expiernce, needless to say it's off again. |

Northeastern Penna. | Try riding again with the trunk on, then off. I don't feel there is any difference. Actually, when I first took my trunk off last fall and rode without it, I felt as though there was more wind.
Now, it's the same, with or without. |

New Bohemia, VA | mgoblue, i bought a tp as well and it took a while before i actually took off the trunk. immediately i realized that the bike was clearly designed for the street verision, however, it does accomidate the trunk very well. What we do is all on the rider and not anothers opinion.
The best advice to date in riding was from an old harley dude that did many trips to sturgis. he saw me with a bag in the pillion and told me i need to get a trailer. he says he never rides with a bag on the seat, unless it is his old lady, but if he needs to take anything it is in the trailer. putting crap on your bike like that takes away for the ride experience.... as soon as i get a trailer i'm thinking i'm going street....
hey, i wonder if i can put wheels on the trunk....

| same experience here. major issuesin the wind. it's almost like the bike tacks with the wind. can't get the female accessory to accept a back rest. rode street while she was on vacation and it was a lot better but if momma ain't happy.... |

| Wind doesn't bother me too much, but I do prefer the feel of the bike without the tourpack and just the backrest. If I get rid of the Vision in October I'll be selling the passenger backrest w/panel |

Richmond, Virginia | <----- Street premium for this very purpose. I like the looks of the trunk, they did a great design job, but unless you are riding with a passenger to put weight between the driver and the trunk, its gonna feel like a kite. The problem is the air space between the two.
simple rule passenger = trunk no passenger= no trunk. why carry what you dont need. besides once you turn your bike into a Street Version like mine, you will be faster and cooler looking which afterall is the entire purpose ha ha ha ha |

| Yeah i love the look without tour pack. Funny thing is my wife hates it with the pack. She feels it makes her sit to straight up and down. She is short also, we have 2 sets of risers on floorboards, with the pack that also gives her issues. I guess i'm lucky she likes it without the pack because that is also the way i prefer it. It's one damn HOT bike without the pack in my opinion. |

North Orange County CA | On this episode of real housewives of Orange County; "Stacy" (not her real name) realizes that people can gauge the size of her butt with the tour-pack removed from the Vision............
Since "Perception is Reality" in LALALand, tour pack is now affixed to Vision using RED Loctite, and a Pilates Power gym now resides in the living room.
If VaParadox is still working out the math, I submit the following equation. The math is as irrefutable as E=MC squared.
Large Tour-pack = smaller butt (for both of us, since my wallet was tapped for the power gym).

So Cal | Ive ridden with the trunk on and off. The best way is with some one on the back. My wife never rode with the trunk off, but the whole bike just feels better with some one on the back. The extra 100 lbs. seems to make a big diffrence. |

I betchya I've got that extra 100 lbs in my own belly and a$$.
My Vision feels great with trunk on. When I take off the trunk, I get too much wind on my back. then again, I don't think the Hindenberg was ever designed for 75MPH, either... which is what I most closely resemble. |
