I was out riding with my wife this evening and I always raise the shield for her. The temps have cooled here to the high 40's which is very cool for this time of year. Anyhow as I was going along and I raised the shield I noticed my hands were getting lots of cold air on them.
With the shield down, no air on hands, shield up hands get blasted. I rode all last fall and didn't notice this.
I suspect it is the cutouts on the two lower edges allowing or rather channeling the air towards the hands. Anyone else notice this? and if so has anyone experienced the same with the CB windshield?

Good thing the Mrs only rides occasionally in the cooler temps and now that I know I'll make a point of wearing gloves when she's along.

Don't put the windshield all the way up. The wife will get better air deflection because the windshield tips back right at the end and with it not all the way up it doesn't tip back therefore pushing the air alittle higher and over. It will also stop the air blast on the hands because those little openings don't happen until right at the end when the windshield tips back.
