I hate to break the news to you, but unless you have really wirey, thin hands and pull the air filter out, your gonna have a hell of a time changing that bulb. I had mine on the lift a few months ago when i had a little down time in the shop just to figure out what it really took to change the bulb. It can be done, but i tore my hands up a bit getting them back in.

I've found that laying the bike down on the tipovers helps a lot. Right side tipovers for the left bulb and vice versa. And remove the air filter for a bit more access.

In the event that you wind up with the 4 hr. option, it may be worth your while going with a nice Bi-xenon HID replacement, there are no filaments to burn out or break and the HID's are rated at 3000 hrs, that will be the option I take when it's time to change mine.

Little shit like this is what makes me want to kick the hell out of the designers that have no concept of simple required maintenance.

Also if it's any consolation the shop time should only be 2 hours LMAO..........

Where's the best place to purchase a Bi-xenon HID?

Also anyone else on info for replacing bulbs?

Okay, nothing that will really make that big of a difference, but if you adjust the headlight adjustor all the way UP it will allow just a little bit more room to get the bulb in and out. I already had the bike on the jack and the front tire off, I adjusted the headlight forward and changed the right headlight in less than a half hour.

I did not change the left one because these were both new bulbs two months ago and is still burning. The left one is still the most difficult one, but I think it would help there too.

Doing this does not help put the boot back on easier as that part is not part of the adjustable piece, just where the bulb resides is adjustable.
