SBR, I THINK that is an industry standard screw, so you could go to a good auto parts store and find one easier and cheaper than chasing down a Victory one.

6mm x 3/4" long I believe. Found chrome ones @ Ace True Value with the allen head. These screws should be locktited. Maybe them loosening up is part of the problem causing the lowers to crack.

The screws on my lowers have chrome hex heads. Just metal screws huh.... I think you talked to the "Jethro" of Ace salesmen. I post the part number later this evening.

Actually is a torx screw - a 15 or 20 I think - I lost an upper recently and had to replace it.

If I am not mistaken, the instruction sheet also had a parts list on it. You could then order this missing screw from you friendly Vic dealer.

take one of the other screws and go to either Home Depot, Lowes, Advance Auto, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, NAPA, Pleasant Hardware, Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, or Southern Screw and get one that looks like it! When it comes to this stuff, it is too common and no, I do not expect a Victory Dealer to stock any of this. It hard enough to get them to keep things that sell, like tires, air filters and rubber kickstand pads.

This title kills me every time it comes back up on the homepage.  Whenever I think of a screw loose on an '08 I always think this is a varyder thread.
