| Hello Everyone
I am thinking about purchasing a 2014 Vision. I have looked at all of the other touring bikes and the Vision seems to be the one to purchase. I particularly like the no maintenance except for oil changes and normal wear and tear. Any of your experience opinions is greatly appreciated....Thanks in advance for your help |

D/FW, TX | Three months and 2000 miles...love it!
It's a luxury bike on the freeway and a sport tourer on the twisties. Very well balanced and plenty of power.
Past rides were Electra Glide and 1700 Vulcan, both great bikes, but not as comfortable.
Google 'Victory Vision forums' and you'll get plenty of info.

Bradenton, FL | I wanted to get a touring bike and keep my Triumph Thunderbird as an around town machine. I rode the Road Glide, Triumph Rocket III Touring and the Goldwing F6B. The Vision was the most comfortable of all of them, bought mine weekend before last and love it. Am looking forward to putting some miles on this thing!
Of course I dont like the transmission (clunk! clunk!) and how it shifts, the saddlebags are tiny, the throttle required way too much travel to open up and the brakes were a little wooden. Its superb handling, comfort and features far outstripped any negatives and I am very pleased with my purchase so far. |

Peru, IN | Great bike. I've had my '12 Vision for a little over a year. Watch out for the rear portion of the front fender. It tends to crack at the side mounting holes. |

Install a 1/4 turn throttle. It will eliminate the full wrist twist of the throttle. Witchdoctors and Lloydz carry them.Lloyd designed it. One of the guys on the forum made his own out pvc but for $20 its worth every penny. |

Most definitely! I looked those up even before I bought the bike... I'm just waiting to get through my 500 mile break in first, otherwise I know the temptation to twist it open as often as possible will be hard to overcome  |

New Orleans, La, | The wooden brakes is more a function of the type of brake pads the bike comes with. Switch to a good,ie more expensive , set of pads and BAM! competent brakes. |

Central Illinois | My experience is coming from an HD Road Glide Ultra.
Get on the bike ride and smile, repeat. Once in a while, depending on how many smiles, stop for fuel or an oil change. Get back on the bike and try not to scare little children with that big grin. |

Katy, TX United States | Bought a 2013 VV last summer. have just under 9k miles. Best bike I'v ever had. One warning - you can't stop for gas, food, etc without someone coming up to you and ask about your bike. I a 6'4" and several people I ride with say "ma you look very comfortable on your bike." My answer "If I were anymore comfortable, I'd fall asleep." My wife and daughter have both fallen asleep on the back seat. Added Joe Florida lights and had some high schooler say "cool bike." I guess that will make me a cool grandpa in May (daughter is due in may). |

| The MOST important thing buying any Victory is a great dealer. It's well worth the travel time.
Post where you live and I am sure plenty of locals will recommend the best dealer for you.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA United States | I've had my Vision for about 4 months and it has brought riding up to a whole new level. I've put about 3000 miles on it during the winter months. Cold is no problem! (in CA that mean 30s). Heated seat and grips, what a great invention! It's still a rare bike in Northern Cal so you constantly get weird looks, people taking pics on the freeway and everywhere else. Some people think it's a custom bike. Some think it's a giant scooter. I think when you're riding a Vision, you're making a bold statement and not going along with the crowd. You're making your own sound. The best word I have to describe the Vision is comfortable. The worse word is plasticky. I'm still wondering how a plasticky bike can weight so much. |
