...man, what a miserable ride today, raining going, raining at lunch, raining going home. My legs hurt, my back hurt, couldn't see, felt like I was going to get run over.

Tomorrow I'm riding the Vision and not the Jeep, I only drove because I had computers to carry and had no way to keep one of them dry. Rain again tomorrow, it will be so good to ride in the rain after being dry for so long, at least it was last night.

Does the phrase "Sucker for punishment" sorta fit here, Chris?

Yeah that really bites! Here in the Houston area we had the first morning that the temps were under 70 (usually79) in four months. It really bit rolling down the pavement with that oppressive 62 degreee temp without a cloud in the sky......

Started out that way, ended up pretty good. Mars, PA. to Jackson, Tn., 750 miles in 11 hours. Should be better tomorrow from here to Houston.

I hope you all understand that what made it miserable is that I drove my Jeep today to work. I was having D.T.s on the way home. The weather is turning, and we're finally getting much needed rain. I guess it's time to put away the shorts and tank top and put on the chaps and jacket.

When it rains here - which it does once in a blue moon - I happily get into my sportymobile - and ride with wipers going. And avoid the 3 hour cleaning detail on the VV which has to happen EVERYTIME I ride in the rain. I AIN'T A SUCKER FOR PUNISHMENT, Chris!

You think VAcantcleanitimridingryder is detailing his ride. I believe he may be in with Victory to see just how well his ride holds up under intense natural contaminants. You see I think the only time his ride gets washed is when it rains or it might be a spit shine. I dunno!

EVERY bike I have owned, people have asked me - is this a new model? CUZ I keep 'em looking new! Doesn't mean I don't ride 'em - just means I work at the 'new' look.
I do the same with my cars, my houses, my wife and my cat. I can't seem to do as well with ME !

...aaaahhhh, what a great ride into work this morning, a little mist when I left, but the sky cleared and it was blue with some clounds, at 70 degrees.

...it's like this OG, for the past two weeks it was 4 miles to work, and today was the first day back to my regular work location 32 from the house. I enjoyed the ride straight to work this morning, but I had to get it back in the blood and took an hour to get home.

Like ugly gals, I've never dated one, but woke up with a few. That's how I ride in the rain-a lot. Never start out in it, but with three hundred cloudy days a year otuside Seattle up here, I get caught a lot. That's why the VV is so good-dry feet. NO other scoot can beat it. And the windshield? Write your own story there, but it's the best.

You guys in the sunny climes actually sing about rain, it's so novel. Wasn't it Eddie Rabbit who sang, "I love a rainy night, the moon shining bright..." You can sure tell he's from SOCAL. And blind. Trust me, it doesn't take too many deluges to rinse the bloom off that rose.

I wish I lived somewhere long enough to say-"Oh no! Not ANOTHER sunny day!" "And my scoot? Well, it just stays clean like that! I miss a chance to wash it!" LOL

If it's raining when I leave for work I take the truck, I'm not that hard-core. If I get caught in it on the way home , oh well. I have got caught on the way to work and spent the rest of the day drying out. It's allright though. Living in the South has it's advantages.

...aaahhh more punishment. My concern is the cagers who go insane in a little rain....

black line, north to south, in the red circle, is my route home here shortly. Current radar capture... oh well as someone else said.
