I'm thinking of getting the Vision 8 Ball seat and putting it on my 09 Ness Vision. I know that the suspension on the 8 ball is lower, but I'm hoping that switching seats will put me alittle closer to the ground. Looking at pictures, the 8 ball seat looks lower than the Ness seat.
Does anyone know it there is a difference, or are they the same? Thanks! |

Peachtree City, GA | The 8 ball seat is 1" lower then the stock Vision seat. A good friend has an 09 Ness Vision and his seat is the same hieght as my Victory Leather seat. Which I believe it sits you a little higher.... Now My wife's 08 Vision has an 8 ball seat on it and I am thinking I will be ordering one for me...

| Thanks for the input. I've looked at all the specs and it states that the Ness seat should be 24.5 inches. (Same as the VV 8 ball) Looking at pictures, it seems the 8 ball seat looks just a bit lower, so it's good to get feedback from owners. Mahalo!! |

Peachtree City, GA | Are you looking at an 09 or 10 Ness seat - there is a thread around here were 1atom12 show the pictures of the difference... The newer model cheaped out and went with a "non-leather" seat... At that point I would say it is in the seat... The 8-Ball lowers the bike 1" in the seat and 1" in the shock - link assembly.

| I have the 09 Ness with the leather seat. The padding is very comfortable and the leather is outstanding. Yes, looking at pictures of both seats, the 8 ball seat looks just about an inch lower than stock or even my 09 Ness. I know the specs say that both seat heights are 24.5", but just wanted reassurance. If both seats are truly the same, I'd have an easier time shaving down an 8 ball seat rather than my Ness. It drops the ride height 1" to 2". If you ride to up... the passenger will love the backseat. The memory foam moves better with you body.
