RALLY SITE
http://www.hotelcarlisle.com/?????? Hotel Carlisle has very good food, nice rooms, indoor pool and fair rates at $65 for this area. These rooms go for double this during the Carlisle Auto Shows.? Easy to get to ....located near the Jct of PA Turnpike & Rt 81.? Rooms are in section 300 which is an adjacent part of the hotel in the back.? We will have large orange cones in our bike parking area to prohibit car traffic.??

Good food at the hotel rally site and other nearby places....plus....for the few of us that might be interested there are multiple great low places to eat.....East Coast best hotdogs (Gettysburg); great soup/fries/wings and massive sandwiches (Mechanicsburg); the best home made pasta in the area (Hanover and Thurmont); best cheese cake (Gettysburg)....more
WEATHER
Expect warm weather during the day for the rides with evenings at the rally site being cooler.??

Too far from ND in the fall too, and having AVR right after Sturgis makes both a streach. Have to take in one ot the other. Wish there was some seperation there. Just my 3 cents worth.

I would like to make it out for this event but have a few questions. Due to an injured arm, I can not make plans until I see how the injury is healing. Do I need to worry about the rooms selling out?

There will be rooms. However, if you wait too late the room block $ rates may not be applicable.

I recommend you consider making a reservation in the very near future to get the room block $ rate. If you have to cancel for any reason.....this can be done this until 6pm of the day of arrival you stated when you made your room reservation.
